happy dance!

I'm doing the happy dance! I got the job with hospice! Only one more hurdle - I've got to take a physical. I hate when I have to list all the med's I take 'cuz there are so many!

I hope in the next few days to post all the pictures from Jill's ordination and our trip to Door County! It was wonderful to be among GETS friends again!

Next ordination is Denita's on October 8th!

Love to all!

a side note: would someone else please add a post so I don't feel like I'm talking to myself!

Congratulations, Brenda. I am very proud of you and I witnessed that God shows the way to those whom trust in the God's timing.

I had a wonderful time at Jill's ordination and the trip to Door County with friends. It was nice to be away from Evanston! I was cleansed my dead spirit. Thank you, Jill and friends!

GETS has 75 new students this year. We had a successful orientation last week (I was exhausted after the busiest week!). Returning students are putting much effort to build up the caring and loving community on campus. Last Saturday, both returning and new students got together to pack 500 health packages for victims in New Orleans.

Brenda asked me about the baby of Prof. Sujin Pak. Here is the article from the GETS trustees paper, "In touch":

Ken and Sujin Pak Boyer are proud to announce the birth of Amelie Haley Boyer. Amelie, pronounced "Ahm-meh-lee," means "beloved" in French and "people or work of God" in Hebrew. She was born August 10, 8 lbs, 11 oz , 20-1/2". She has dark brown hair, almond eyes, and a very round face with chubby cheeks. All are doing well and Sujin sends appreciation for support from the seminary.

Tomorrow is my first day of class for my last year of Seminary. I hope I will be able to graduate next May! I cannot wait!

All of your ministries are in my prayers. Love and peace,

Maiko Yanai

Congratulations, Brenda. I will keep you in prayer through your physical exam, etc.

Maiko, great to hear from you. Keep us informed about the events on campus. I miss the community a great deal.

I can write more later. Just got back from 1 week vacation in U.P.(that's Upper Peninsula for non-Michigan folks) and am trying to catch up.

Blessings,

Tim

Congratulations on the job, Brenda! I'd love to join you in the "happy dance!" I'm trying to get back into the swing of things with work, etc. after a week's vacation. Still working on finding an apartment closer to Chicago along with a new job, etc. I have given notice at the church that I will move by the end of the year, so I have a little time to work with. Take care.
Blessings,
Candy
